It has become customary for business establishments to announce discounts on the product/service they promote to the consumers. They look in for various ways to promote a product or service. In this hoard of getting the consumers they often come up with tricky things to lure the customers. Technically speaking, discout is a practice to decrease the cost of the product/service and to share the same with the customer. In this pursuit of providing discount they often compromise with the quality. Imagine a company announcing 50% discount on a product which cost half the value of it in the market. It is a tricky way to fool the customer and to make him/her to purchase a product or service. Based on the above reason...Do you still believe on "Discounts"????? Thanks in advance for your valuable response.

It just depends on the consumer and being able to recognize an actual discount. The thing is there are alot more idiot people out there that are more likely to get tricked than there are people who can actually see the value of the product being sold.

I do agree with you....people when lured to discounts do not actually look into the actual cost of the product or service.

hmm i agree... i mean often a company will over price something just so that when they have a discount, such as 50% off they are still making quite a large profit... i think with or without discounts companies will still compromise the quality of the product... the bigest problem with discounts is that the prices are way ove rinflated when the products arent on sale
