Pretend you are eating real crab I guess. It's a good diet food and I like dipping it in seafood sauce. I like it in a salad, or a seafood pasta salad. I have also used it in seafood pasta or in place of tuna melts.

I normally use it in stir fry with vegetables, dump it in soup or hotpot with other stuff like fishballs, veg, meat, egg, etc. You can also use it when making sushi with cucumber, pickled radish, omelette, meat floss.

I usually just heat it and then dip it in melted butter. I eat it just like I would normal crab. True it's not as good but then again it's a lot cheaper and less work then buying actual crab legs.

I don't buy imitation crab all to often. But when I have in the past I'd use it to create a salad a large majority of the time. I'd dice some celery, some onion, & the imitation crab. Then I stir it with mayo, garlic salt, lemon juice & then pepper. Sometimes even a tiny little bit of paprika or even parsley. Then I'll put the lemon wedges around on the plate. It gives it a little bit of a different taste. Have you ever had crab salad before?! It is rather yummy.. If you are wanting to use your imitation crab you may want to try this dish out if you like salad.. I'd also have had imitation crab in a casserole. My Aunt used to make it all of the time. It wasn't my favorite dish but it's something very different to try if someone is wanting to try a different dish for a change. I'd also had it in stir fry as well before. I found the stir fry was perfect if someone was wanting to watch there waist line. And wanting to lose a little bit of weight. I think it's a good dish for that reason. Because there so many different vegetables included in the stir fry that it is bound to be extremely healthy! I haven't tried any of these dishes before.. But I've heard that some have used imitation crab to create dips or even cheese balls. As well as enchiladas. But I personally use it a large majority of the time to create a healthy, yet tasty crab salad. If you make the right kind of dressing it can be just such a great change, & also a great salad at the same time! . . Thanks for allowing me to share. xx

I ususally use this to make seafood encheladas. I shred the "crab" and mix it with sauteed onion and a block of fat free cream cheese. Roll this in flour tortillas and place in a casserole dish. Mix cream of mushroom soup and sour cream (equal amounts)add some garlic salt and cumin to taste and about 1/2 cup milk. Pour this over the tortillas, cover and bake at 350 degrees for about 30-45 minutes. Uncover, top with shredded cheddar and bake until cheese is melted. Yum!

I don't buy this often as the kids don't like it, but when I do, I usually just mix it with a little miracle whip and make sandwiches. I also love to make macaroni salad and mix in the crab, chopped onions and some frozen peas. (Could add spices or whatever to your own taste) I like to put it on my garden salads sometimes as well for a variety. Or alot of times I just eat it like it is, like a little snack.

I like this in California Maki but I love this in salads. I chop this up, mix it with hearts of romaine lettuce and strips of ripe mango. I toss this in olive oil dressing (a little olive oil, a pinch of pepper, a pinch of salt and some toasted garlic chips). Yummmmmm.
