Wgat do/did you plan to do once you retire from work?

I didnt plan on retiring unto my late 50s, but I had dreams to sell most of my belongings, buy a caravan (RV), put my cats into it and drive all over the USA and Canada and find America. I'd take the backroads and meet the "down-home" people like I did while I lived and worked down South. Today, I'm in my 50s and very ill, but my husband and I work out little trips so I can stll do some of the traveling - just a little more restrictive due to me being in a wheelchair.

Actually right now i am a at home mom, so I am waiting for my little ones to grow up so that i can go to work. My husband and I decided that I should stay home when my 9 year old daughter was just 6months old. I was going to go back part time a few times but my husband said that he would like me to stay home till our son who is 4, is in jr.high or so. Then there is talk of a third little one buzzing around our house, so not sure how long it will be till I go back to work. I do plan though on spending time hopefully with my grandchildren, and having as much fun with them as I do with my little ones now. I love being around them so much, they are my life.

I hope to retire to a nice community where i can volunteer my time but still work with horses... I want to be riding and working with horses until the day i die... it is my passion and will continue to be even when i retire
