I have convinced my husband to be my exercise buddy! It is amazing how much more I accomplish when he is working out with me. Has anyone here tried working out with a friend? Do you do more with or without them?

You know, it really is easier to get motivated if you have someone to exercise with. A few years ago my family would get out and walk around the block together. I know that I never would've done that without them, _and_ it was fun! Just to spend some family time and do something together, and get some exercise in the process. I'm glad that you have your husband to exercise with now! That should help to motivate the both of you to do a lot more than you might have done otherwise! ^_^

No doubt about it, having a buddy really helps. My husband and I used to bike ride together, and it was so much more fun and one always encouraged the other when one didn't want too.

Just like every thing else it is fun to have someone with you when you exercise. I think it has a motivaional effect. Just when you think you can't take another step, or lift anymore weight, your work out buddy can get you to do one more.
