If you are talking about marraige, I don't think you need to leave for any foolish reason. I mean when you are already in the relationship called marraige, you have accepted the promis to be there forever for your partner. I know, there is no relationship which does not have a single problem. But thats the life all about. You will surely to have lots of problems in any relationship and so do in marrainge too. You will have to understand each other and find out the solutions. Sacrifice few personal things for your partner's happiness is the best thing you could do to keep your relationship always alive. So, Yes, I would surely promise my partner to be there for her forever. I mean it.

Why would one have to leave? I dont see any reason. Only way to leave is to leave one's body that is to die. Apart from that, I dont see any other reason to leave. A marriage is an association for one whole life.

Yes, I can promise my partner that I will be there for her forever. If you set your mind that you never leave your partner and you have strong commitment, you will never leave your partner and I believe it.
