Brushing your teeth

How often do you brush your teeth? Do you use an ordinary toothbrush or the mechanical ones that you just turn on and it brushes your teeth by itself? I used to dislike brushing my teeth when I was just a child. But when I grew older, I realize that my teeth are really important and should be cared for. Now that I'm nearing 30 years old, I brush my teeth everytime after I eat, especially when there is chocolate or coffee involved because they stain your teeth so bad! I also brush my infant's teeth everytime after he eats, especially after eating sweet things.

yeah well. i've had a root canal when i was 12. for eating way too much chocolate and not brushing enough. yeah, i learned the value of proper brushing the hard way. i don't eat chocolate any more, or very rarely. and i brush my teeth twice a day. once in the morning. and definitely always the night one. never miss that one. 8 - 10 hours of germage in my mouth is not a very pleasant thought

I used to have an electric toothbrush, but I didn't really feel like it was getting them clean, so I just use a manual. You've gotta be careful though, I was brushing so much I made wear marks in some of my teeth which had to get filled in. Its best to use a soft bristled brush.

That's a very good habit you have there. I brush twice a day, once in the mornign and once before I go to bed. I also make sure I clean my tongue because that's where half the bacteria is! I rinse my mouth after I eat to get rid of stuck food particles. I use a regular toothbrush and not the mechanical ones. I have no idea how it feels to use one of those!

I usually just brush morning and night, but occasionally during the day also. I just use a 'manual' toothbrush, not an electric one. Its really important to keep them clean!
