How do we extract perfumes from flowers?

Make perfumes at home - how is that?

What is labortory method and and how is the house-hold method of extracting the prefume from flowers? If any one of you know this technique please explain it in detail.

The method used is ecuelle method. I guess who have to use lard from pig to extract essential oils from the flowers. I have my laboratory manual still in college but i have to find it first.My professor on this subject about pharmacognosy is great teaching us how to extract essential oils from flowers especially ilang-ilang.
