Fabregas is better going forward (to attack). However as a defending player Vieira was excellent and he never let the centre backs come under huge pressure. However Fabregas is still young and he will improve more in a couple of years!!

Fabregas is a playmaker he never puts in those crunching tackles.... Vieira was great when it came to making those crucial tackles.... However fabregas is a great player and he will learn and improve...

No, i think not. Even do fabegas is good but viera is better. The fact is viera is born leader. But the good think is fabegas is still young and can improve to be better.

they are totally different players. viera was more of a physical player and was a great tackler aswell as play maker. fabregas is more of a technical player and is mroe skillful than viera. they are both good at what they do so it would be hard to pick a better one.

Fabregas is young at the age of 19 and Vieira has reached his peak. Undoubtedly Fabregas is incomparable going forward and pinpointing the accurate passes. He is second to none at this but his defensive game lacks somewhat. The great thing is that there is a long way to go for this young sensation and he can only get better and better.

fabregas is future and vieira is da past ,i think those who watched the champions league match between juventus and aresenal will agree with him,in that match young cesc completely overshadowed vieira and also got into tackling,i think he is one the best young player maker in football right now just like ronaldhino or riqulme
