Why do parents kill their own children?

I can not believe the amount of parents killing their own children these days. I understand you can get depressed, I have been there, even thoughts of suicide from post partum depression, but never once have I ever thought of killing my children. I feel like the depression thing is just an excuse. How can any parent try to justify killing their kids? There is nothing in this world that makes it ok! I was wondering what everyone else thought of this. I think these parents should be dealt with the same exact way that they killed their children. Prison is not enough, and lethal injection is to easy. They should suffer the same fate that their children did. Feel the same pain of what they put them through. This topic just breaks my heart!
