Got/heard of any photo converting software that will convert various formats of photo files into different one's? Are there any programs out there that are freeware? All responses to this open photo converting topic appreciated.

I recommend using Photoshop or Fireworks when converting image formats from one to another. I am a digital graphic designer and those are the tools I use. =)

Before I purchased Paint shop pro I always used lview. It is a free program and can convert anything. It is a lot like paint shop pro. But just on case it is not free anymore. You can to http://www.twocows.com they have millions of free downloads, some are shareware but a LOT of them are freeware.
