The verse in the book of John which says "FAther forgive them for they know not what they are doing" touhed me alot. Jesus was dying on the cross after so much of suffering even then he forgave those who persecuted him.Which verse in the Bible has touched you the most?

I have many verses that I rely on and keep hold of in times of trouble, but if you want the one that touched me the most, it was simply the smallest..."Jesus wept". That just showed His humanity and the fact that he cares so deeply about us. He is very concerned with us and involved. He is not a God that is out so far away from us that He cannot understand. He came and experienced what we experience. He offered Himself up for us and even in our ugly selfishness. What a God we have!

What has touched me most is contained in God's Ten Commandments, more particularly, the very first one. It states that we may never have any god besides him for he is a jealous God. We may never bow down nor render services with our hands and lips unto them - them includes statues and sculptures made by the hands of man which are wielded with precious stones, silver and gold. I hope you'll find the verse in one of the first 5 books in the Bible.
