I've activated my e-banking. Is it safe to transfer monnnnnnnnnney with e-connect? We see lot of scams in such cases. Is it not so, if we care in hidding our pin?

Im still not sure if I can trust online banking. Maybe someday if its really has outstanding rating from its users.

I use it quite a lot to check my balance and that. It is safe if you use it properly and dont tell anyone your details, its quite simple really.

yes...it is.....
but checkout the banks with whom you are transacting....

It is very safe. It will become unsafe only when you tell your password to anyone. I would recommend you not to tell your password even to your most trustworthy person because when money becomes matter, most of the trust is shattered. So, it is better not to tell your password. Dont worry about the safety of the ebanking.

I've never used e-Connect, but I do use my bank here in Guelph, and my PayPal account. I can transfer money from bank to paypal and paypal to bank, as well as moving money around within my bank accounts, and paying my bills on line. So far I haven't had a problem.

I think it is quite safe and had no problems ever since I've started using it many years ago. All you have to do is to stick around the more trust-worthy e-banking sites such as PayPal or e-gold, and not go for those less known than these, becuase those are most likely to turn out as being a scam.

to the maximum extent it will be safe unless and untill someone have come to know of your bank balance and some other personal information ...like bank account number other financial details....avoid loging to your bank account from internet cafes to the maximum extent,,,these are the most vulnerable places for such offences..as far as bank's website are concerned they will be very much and you will be transfering the funds in safe zone only....even if anyone intercepts it he can be caught easily with his ip adddress.
