I've been dancing since I was about eight. I've never done it in a school or with a group or anything like that. It's just something I did on my own time. I've always enjoyed making up my own dance routines. So, this year I finally decided to take it a step further and take classes at a well known dance school in Philadelphia. What were your dance school experiences like?

I understand where you're coming from. I have been dancing hip-hop since before I can remember and never considered going to a class. One day my little sister wanted to get enrolled in classes because... well she was a bad dancer and when I went to go pick her up I saw the dance studio and the teacher and the atmosphere was great. For two years I have been in and out of dance studios because some are simply better than others. Some teachers were snobby and some were extremely patient. Overall I have been in salsa classes, ballroom classes, and ballet classes and I can't seem to get enough of it! It's exciting to learn a new type of dance from someone who wants to be patient and help! So my dance school experiences turned out to be great!

when I was eight I decided to take balet clases, whithout my parents accord.and then,my mother found out and didn`t let me to continue with my studies.I regret this all the time, cause now I`m integrated in a ensemble where I`m asked for balet and it comes very hard to me to make it from begining now.when you are a little child you can improve your body condition better than at stage of 20`years old.so ,if someone want to take dance lesson he/she should start from an early age

I trained at a classical ballet studio for years and did jazz, tap, lyrical, and modern in addition to ballet. I have also had several mini-lessons in international dance forms. I now have my own dance company which is currently in its start-up phase though I am I will be ready to perform with it later this year.

Cool! I really want to be in a dance class since I want to enhance my dancing skills. Too bad I wasn't able to use it for the past years because I've been very busy for work. But I love dancing. Hve you joined dance sports?

I took dancing lessons from 5 years old until I was about 13 and then got too busy with other things. It has stayed with me all these years though and I wish I had kept it up

I'm a real dancer by heart, since my childhood years till my college I was a active member of different dance club and represents my schools to various competition. But since I was working now I never dance like I dance before and that's expalined some unwanted fats on my body. Congratulations to your decision, we should really follows what our heart desire is as long it is beneficial to us.
