I want to visit Italy someday

I have always been fascinated with Italy, and as an Italian, feel I should visit at least once in my life. Anyone have any good experiences with Italy? What is it like? Where is the best place to go?

yes me too. I want to visit not just Italy but also some other countries in Europe. In my list I have UK and France and ofcourse Italy as well. I hope I can some info here about Italy and the recommended places to visit there.

yeah... I'm Italian. Well in every region of Italy there are beautiful places to visit. Think Trentino for its mountains or Venice. Florence, Bologna but above all Rome, very beautiful. Sicilia is beautiful too.

I like to go to places what noone has heard of, to small village by the sea or in the mountains, where people do not speak any other language just Italian or local dialect. Where they treat you right and show you around.
