i replaced 256mb to 512mb ram for my dell 4100 dsktp,now why my screen is blank

Desk computer dell 4100 after replacing ram on boot up nothing on screen!!

perhaps ur RAM is incompatible ask some professional, if u hear a beep when u start computer, than RAM might be pluged in reverse or the RAM is not good or the port is xpired

maybe ur ram is faulty replace it and see.or

the frequency of the ram you have bought and that of the system would be different... just get the stated ram or if you know try to do it from the bios settings
