Twins

I am not a twin. My sisters are identical twins. They are alike in a lot of ways. It all depends on what kind of twin you are. If you are identical twins that share the same sack you IQ's are going to be closer in number than other types of twins. They also say that 1 in 8 people has a vanishing twin. That is a twin that seems to stop growing & disappear back in the body a lot of times.

They say there is usually one dominant twin but this can change as they get older.

I have twins that are almost 2 1/2. They are boy girl twins and are complete opposites of each other. I have some friends that are identical twins and are hard to tell apart. One of them told me once that he would rather have a scar on his face then be a twin because he is so annoyed with being known as "one of the twins" and not having his own identity.

I have known many twins and some of them are not like each other at all. One of my friends has two girls, one has light hair, the other has dark hair. Then I have seen twins who are so like each other that people don´t know who is who. Some people do not think deep enough to realize or find out that the twins really are different personalities.

No, I am not a twin. I've known several sets of twins throughout my life and realize that twins are very different from eachother. They have different likes and disklikes, different hobbies, and prefer different types of relationships. However, I do believe that twins have a special connection that other siblings do not have. I think its just a natural reaction for people to consider twins one and the same, many people consider twins as a set rather than individuals, but usually that is before getting to know them.
