I would actually like to see alex and addison get together. I think they both want to but Addison wont let herself "become" Derek so everytime she gets all hot & bothered by alex she runs to mark.

You have a great point. Do you think she wants Derek back? That she is silently hoping that his affair with Meredith will end and he will come back to her?
And what if Meridith doesn't survive? She fell off the pier into the water last episode and we are left hanging.

Ooooooooooo! I think that would be cool! We love this show! It's one that even my husband enjoys watching. I'm not sure if this is just a fly by night thing or something that they plan on making a steady thing of. I honestly think that they both could make a relationship work with each other if they wanted to. I just don't know if the people writing the plots will allow it or not.
Waiting to see what happens to Meredith after falling from the pier last week!

Ive been wanting the two to hook up since season two! I hope Shonda and he writers decide to do that. I mean, they have the 'chemistry' and they get a long pretty fine. I really really love the episodes when Alex was under Addy's wing :)

i would love if they pursued that type of storyline with addison and alex, they are such an unlikely couple that it would be fun to see how they would script it, and it would be nice to see addison with someone and happy after she ended up being so good about merideth. Hopefully something will happen in the next couple of new episodes and they dont leave us hanging at the end of the season

I really thought they were going to, but now she has promised McSteamy that she wouldn't sleep with anyone else...I still think they might do it though.

Something is going on between them, there is chemistry but I think both are being careful and aloof so that they dont get into something they will regret in the future or they dont want to risk getting hurt and having that hurt be related to someone they work with on a day to day basis. But with the spinoff in the works and Addison being in the center of that new show, I think there wont be a lot going on for the two of them. If Addison gets her new show, then she will be leaving Seattle Grace.
