Have it shot down from the sky and beaten over the head with a rusty sword by someone who doesn't want to listen to the brilliant ideas that you create anyway.

We all have I believe! Not everyone understands us or we understand them even. It could be all in the presentation and situation. I kinda like your ideas. I kinda like my ideas. That is what is important. The right time will come along for the use of our ideas.

I liked the last line of your post as it gives a certain air of destiny for ones ideas, as opposed to the ramblings of a drunken bum.

I never tell anyone my ideas anymore because of the fact that I either think I'm boring them or they are bored by my ideas, however if I make a decent amount of money on the back of one or a few of my ideas I'll make sure those people who were bored by my original ideas got to know about how brilliant my ideas were after all.

I have it happen all the time. When I was younger it used to hurt me really bad. Now that I've older and more mature I just shrug it off. After all who are these people to poo poo my ideas? They probably never have an original idea at all. I feel sorry for them.

yes and it is very annoying and disappointing. everytime someone like shrugs of my ideas i get really disappointed and annoyed.. its like you are very enthusiastic about it and very excited about this new idea only to find out that this people think its crap and that its not even worth talking about.. i hate it when they do that but sometimes i think that they just cant relate to the idea or that their principles or what they believe in or whatever just wont merge with my ideas. but why cant they just entertain me and talk to me politely about how they feel instead of telling it in a rude way?.
