Simpsons Movie: What Are Your Expectations?

I'm hoping they've brought back some of the older writers for the movie, because the recent episodes have been getting pretty lame. I'm expecting great things, though, because it's taken them so long to start working on it. Hopefully it's not just a two hour long episode like the Family Guy movie was.

I don't agree with you, the eps aren't getting lame. The humor is changing, but it's still great, you just have to adjust. It's the same if you watch an episode from season 1 and one from season 8, the humor is very different. I have huge expectations from the movies, especially since Family guy really pulled the movie of nice. Can't wait for it to come out :-)

I expect huge things from this movie, and I probably will be disappointed because I have waited for a Simpsons movie forever now. However, I hope it is great and not one long episode as well. You are right as well, I would like to see some ideas from the older shows as well because I thought they were really good. I can understand as well, because after you get so many episodes, it can be hard to come up with some new ideas.

Yes I expect a lot from The Simpsons movie. I hope not to be disappointed because I really like this cartoon and it has been some time since they announced that they would make a movie about this cartoon. I hope it will be worth the wait.

I think that the creators of Simpsons should have paid a lot of attention towards the movie because of the fact that Family Guy has dominated over Simpsons for more than 4 years now. I think that if they are expecting a comeback, then this should be their best hope. As a matter of fact, I think that new episodes of Simpsons are getting boring and lame, and it's time that they fit Simpsons with better comedy.

I have great hopes for 'The Simpsons' movie. I don't know if it'll be the same quality as the episodes, as I think that 30 minutes is a better slot to fill than two hours. A whole film could just turn into a long episode, like Family Guy. Here's hoping it turned out well!
