i am sick and tired of these small town police officers getting bored and harassing the local car enthusiasts. so i go for a drive the other day any out of know where this cop pulls me over for no reason proceeds to take 30mins to check my insurance and whatever else he could think of and then decides my car looks to be a street racing car and makes me open my hood so he can check to see if indeed i am a racer then he says well i cannot tell if this engine has any modifications so he has to call in an "expert" which looked to be a random mechanic to come and tell him that my car is stock under the hood. then he proceeds to go on this 35min "discussion" about how street racing kills and how it is not "cool" to street race and all this other bs. i guess he just had nothing else to do but all in all i was stuck listen to him for like an hour. well just had to vent. Personally i am sick of all the harassment. just because i have a car stereo does not mean i race my car. most people with stereos are not into making their cars fast they want their cars to be visually attractive not so much fast. anyone have a similar story? lets hear it.

First off, you cant get pulled over for no reason. I'm guessing your town has noise laws and if you drive by a cop with bass on he can pull you over and tell you turn it down. Next time your going to complain about a cop pulling you over for "no reason" have a better story and give the truth instead of a pity story!

"can't be"..you CAN, and he was starting the topic I think as a rant to debate that you SHOULDN'T be because legally it seems wrong, but some police take their roles as meaning they are local gods who control all.

I was pulled over once for "looking suspicious"...when I asked the officer if that meant I was shifting my eyes back and forth too quickly while driving or if they looked beady to him, he got mad and preceded to give me a lecture involving an analogy to dog leash laws...ever confused I told him I did not even own a dog and he just kind of shooks his hands at me and let me go. I'm not sure if he was drunk, or bored, or mentally deranged but he did not have any reason for pulling me over, nor did he truly provide one.
