Repairing a Husky 17 gallon 1.7 hpr air compressor

The instructions said not to pick it up and carry it but my husband chose to do that and now it wont start. Help I need a repair guide. The warning stated that it might do something to the internal circut breaker,. Where do I find it and how to I either replace it or reset it.
