If the supervisor doesnt care, go to the next in line and report the cooworkers strange behavior and what you think is causing it. Do you have a first aide station with personnel working inside? Then go immediately to them and let them handle it. Bipolarism can hurt the affected individual as well as the rest of the workforce. Be firm and good luck!
