My daughter and i went to pick my husband up from work,. he asked her how her day at kindergarten was and she was all excited to tell him that she has a boyfriend and that she kissed him. he went on a speech about how she is too young and that boys have cooties and that he doesnt want to hear of her kissing boys anymore he told her that next time this boy kisses her he going to go beat him up... ( joking of course!) my daughter replied but daddy i love him hes my husband and were gonna get married, i thought it was soo adorable, well then he asked her what does the word love mean to you/ she replied so sophisacted and snooty with one hand on her hip and the other our in front of her and said "daddy duh it means you give me your credit cards" i couldnt help myself i laughed for 15 minutes straigtht to the point i had tears in my eyes. What is the cutest thing your child has ever said?

I was busy preparing our dinner one sunday night when my almost 3-year old son came to our dinning room and said he was hungry and would like to eat ahead of us. Since there are already food in the table I just nodded without looking at him when i suddenly hear him saying a blessing of his food, he was thanking for his milk, his food his mom and dad. I turned around and saw this angelic boy head bowed, arms folded and eyes closed. After he said amen I rushed to him and hugged him real tight. W/ a smile in his eyes he looked at me and ask "Am I very good mommy?"

this is so cute. I love this girl, she has her ideas really clear from the start. My boy is seven and he came back from school telling me that all the boys in his class kiss girls on lips. I was amused. I asked him why he saiid becuase they love them, their grlfriends mom. Then I had to tell him please take the girl's permission before kissing her as gentlemen are supposed to do that. I told him that its okay to kiss a girl on cheek if she is your friend but don't do so on lips preserve it for the special girl thaty you will meet when you grow up. Gosh that was the longest talk we had about kissing appropriately. I don't know what bouncer he is going to throw next. lol

Yes, we take it lightly if we hear kids this young saying they are in love. But this means the kid needs some parental guidance along this line already though still very young. Yes, it's good you asked what is love to her. Makes you aware of her ideas. You can keep track with her, too. Presentday kids are more exposed to the realities of life than those born ten years ago. We can't help it what with the much advanced communication technology we are enjoying now. The cutest things my children has ever said include I love you, mom - plus a hug, a kiss, and some pats on the back. These are very comforting loving words and actions.
