I wouldnt classify maiden solos as easy, they require a guitar player with experince to be alble to play them. then again its not just a matter of playing them, its about playing them in a fluid matter, whitout great effort to play it correctly, and the tone is also very important. Hmm, some players who are know for their musicianship are Satriani, Petrucci, Vai, Malmsteen, Paul Gilbert, Andy Timmons, Allan Holdsworth, Pat Metheny... and sorry if i didnt mention someone you consider very important. Check these out and see if you like ;)

hey niraj, iron maiden features three guitarists, the way they acommodate themselves in the spectrum is an art only iron maiden has. that is their main point! but solos of iron maiden don't have as much technical aspects as of petrucci, blackmore etc. their solos only have hard picking styles and a bit of bends, whereas petrucci and blackmore have a combo of riffing,harmonics,tapping,picking,bends,tremolos........................ however if your picking speed is good iron maiden is not too tough. and remember petrucci,k and blackmore are very technical part in their leads. kirk hammet has the 'speed' factor in his leads! hope that's enough soup for your soul!!! lol!!

After you've been playing guitar active for about 3-4 years and are pretty talented, Maiden solos shouldn't be so hard. After about 5 years they should be pretty easy... But I've played active for two years and I find every other solos than Wasting Love pretty hard but that can be because I'm a bassist now but still they absolutely aren't very easy. And I think Dave Murray should be on top 5 in every top guitarists lists :)
