From wushu, sholin kung-fu, capoiera, teak won do, karate, kick boxing, muay thai, judo, aikedo, and not forgot the tradisional silat too. I'll eager too see the fight and learn about it. Even i'm malaysian, i never learn 'silat' :) why. Because i don't have much time to learn about it. In secondary schools i learn taekwondo. Then while at university, i learn 'silat olahraga' which is requirement for my curriculum subject. It's not something wonderful art i can explain here, but it really give me some good experience though.

I like mixed martial arts, one martial art isn't the answer. But if I had to choose I would say submission grappling as it seems the most effective, as you can start on your feet get them to the ground. Then submit them afterwards. Actually I would pick Jeet Kune Do as it has a combination of grappling, striking, and more.

I love the martial arts. I feel like I've been repeating myself over and over again though when I say I'm practicing Healing Fist Kungfu, which is a style my Sifu has created himself, which can best be described as Shaolin Kungfu techniques, with a Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do philosophy, he is an amazing guy, my Sifu, he's the one who makes me want to be an instructor myself.
