Do any of you have any funny stories to share I do. 7 years ago when I first moved out I did NOT know how to cook at all. I couldn't even boil water,or make jello. It never turned out. Well At the time I lived with my boyfriend(husband now) and I was making fries and nuggets in the oven. Well The fire alarm in my apartment building went off. And all the tenents were in the hall wondering what was going on. Well 2 firetrucks showed up. I was so embrassed. Then it happened another time when I was cooking. The fire alarms went off again. And again fire trucks showed up. Well needless to say my husband taught me how to cook. KNow I could cook a 7 course meal. I am a great cook. I had to learn Didn't want the fire fighters to get to know me.

I liked your story. It reminded me of the time I was cooking rice on the stove, had a fire, the alarm went off, the fire trucks showed up and all the tenennets in my building had to vacate. I had almost forgot about this little encounter. The next day my husband went out and bought me a microwave. No more stove top cooking for me. lol
