tis is really an apt saying .. im sure most of have seen seen the pratical meaning of the quote...in my case also its true...but tis dosnt mean that i dont remember god otherwise..its just that when disaster strikes..we tend to remember god more n try to find solace by praying more...may be its cos we fel od will heed our prayers or may be praying can relieve us from the the troubles...may be tis is the reason y we have difficulties in our life...so tat once in a while we think of god...

I don't think it's the best way to remember God but I feel it's the most common. I mean when you come upon hard times you're gonna look to God to get you out of them.
