what do you think of people who don't like the innocent puppy faces?

i'm going to a university college, and there's a guy in my hostel who doesn't like puppies at all... and whats worse, he even kicks puppies around whenever he gets the chance. How can people be so mean? how can anyone's heart not melt on seeing the cute, innocent expressions in their faces? Leave alone not liking, but how can any person be mean enough to kick little puppies and make them wail? i think these people are the sort which become psychopaths in the society.. do you know anyone like that? what is your opinion about such people?
