I preferably don't search for them. I heard of these sites that they are full of viruses, Trojans, Spywares and many more harmful tech-materials. So I go mostly for free source software, Like FlashGet as Download manager, etc.

there are som good sites that you can search for that will not give you any kind of virus. but i tend to use the sites that have been known to give viruses but i have never gotten one. i always do a spyware scan after i get what i am looking for.

Yes I too, scan the downloads even when they are downloaded from either trusted sites or not. Thats better way to keep the system up to date. Thanks for yours comment. Have a nice day.

Not keygens, but I do search for registration keys. There is not virus in a piece of text in a webpage ;)

Yeah thats right, but some sites have text files archives that they say you to download them, in which they embed some Trojans and viruses. So only look for the text not for the downloads. Thanks for the comment. Have a nice day.

Well I am guilty as charged, well in the past tense anyways. I used to use copied software and get the serial numbers or generate the keys but not any more. I told myself that it was fine to do that as long as I didn't make money using the software and that if I ever started making money with the software I used I would purchase the software. Well I certainly started making money as I became a computer hardware/software instructor. In most cases I didn't need to get copied software as the companies that I worked for purchased copies for me, but I still had some software I used illegally. I even had software companies send boxes of their software directly to my house without me even paying for delivery, pretty cool. I only ever got hit with a trojan once while I was using copied or pirated software even though I kept my pirated copy of McAfee Virus software updated. :) That was quite a while back and I don't bother with pirated software any more.

Yes that whats happens when anyone don't earn. If I would be getting some good pay then I would be first buying an original software CD of a video converting tool which converts every formats. Yours life style is pretty cool. Thanks for yours comment. Have a nice day.
