Please Help ..Can anyone help me with a birthday project for my 81 yr old mother

Every year my sister and I try to do something different for my mom for her birthday, last year I had all of my friends and my sisters friends send her cards, everyday she for about a week she got all these cards in the mail, she got over 100 and she was sooooo happy.
Here is my idea for this year, I want to write letters to different celebrities to ask them to send my mom a photo or card for her birthday (I know my mom would be thrilled to get these).
I already know if you contact the white house the president will send a letter to them so long as they are 80 snd over and you request it 6 weeks in advance, and I plan to do that but .......Can anyone help me with ways to contact any celebrities to ask them to send my mother a authographed photo of themselves. specific websites or just general ideas, all are welcomed.

what about this is your life party,get picture from when she was born right up to date ones, put them in a spiecal book that all about her life ,friends,family.ivite people that she has not seen in years.go right down memory lane

Thank you for the thought however we did make a memory book for her on her 75th- we had a big surprise party for her at a hall and contacted all of the fmaily and friends of the family and asked them towrite a memory they had of her and we put it all in a book for her, she loved it - even people who didn't come to the party sent a note or card for her. It turned out beautifully! Thanks for posting.

That is such an unique and clever idea. I would just go though the websites, and email directly to them that way.

I see this was posted 4 weeks ago. Is it too late to do something? I got an address for possible autographed pictues from the cast of House. I'm not sure if its true because I haven't tried it yet. But here is the address if you want to try it...

Wow .... I had no idea that such a thing could be done but i think that you should do your best for sure to try to get it done. That would be a most impressive gift and Good luck and Best Wishes. Another thing that you could do is try to put together a video or slide show of some sort to bring back a lifetime of her most cherished memories that would also be very heart felt!! What a lovely idea! I only wish my own Mother had lived to such a great age. I guess the best way to contact celebrities is to look at their webpages on the net and you will usually find an agent or management company. Then either write to them or email them, and ask them if they would be willing to help. I hope you get lots of replies and I wish your Mum a wonderful day.
