I have been looking for an account where I get a larger return than 5.75%. Many website on the issue of saving says that getting a 8% interest rate is in your best interest, but I have not seen any legitimate accounts over 5.75%. Are there any accounts other than Roth or 401(k) that have more than 5.75% earnings that I do not need a large sum of money to open? 5.75% a year is not a lot when you calculate a average of 3% inflation, so I would like to stay ahead of it.

Good thinking. I'd recommend everyone to look for atleast 6% annual return. Because elseway you just lose money.
