It depends on the girl your trying to attract. The be yourself comment can be misleading but what its meant to mean is that you have to be comfortable or else the girls will be able to tell, like a dog smelling fear. I took offence to being called good looking in a cute geeky way, which I thought sounded bad, but aparently put into man language it means you look smart, have a nice face and dont think the world of yourself.
