Minimum Wage?...

Has minimum wage gone up yet or is it still the same ($5.15hr i believe). Minimum wage hasn't increased in years and it's about time stingy 'ole Uncle Sam kicked out higher wages (especially due to inflation and increase in cost of living). By minimum wage increasing, hopefully that will influence an increase in higher wages and increased benefits for everyone in the workforce .

I don't think federal has gone up yet, but there were several states that recently raised minimum wage. I remember my sister was mad because she didnt think it was fair that people are getting more money and she isn't. It made me mad that she was being so selfish, but hey what can I say. Anyway, I know in Missouri now it is $6.50. And some other states have it set even higher.
I think the federal one is going to go up to above $7, but it's supposed to be gradual.

There has been a bill passed in both the House and the Senate to raise Minimum Wage.
