How do some people get so many responses?!!!!!!!

I know some of mine can't be that bad. I've seen some pretty dumb ones and they've gotten like 50-100's of responses. Do you know why that is? Help me out, what am I doing wrong, or am I? I just joined a couple of days ago so am still new at this.

The same question that many newbies ask. I ask myself that same question when I first joined. My first few postings got very few responses and I wondered why. I was almost discouraged that maybe it will be a lot better if I just answer instead of posting topics but ideas keep coming in so I didn't stop until one day, lo and behold my postings collected responses. Some even passed the 50 level and 1 went as high as 150, surprised. Keep on posting quality discussions. Some good ones just didn't get displayed at the right time. Don't lose heart.

calm down..you are doing ok...remmeber,that you are still new here and you havent 300 friends in your list,am i right?dont give up and make nice,intresting discussions not just crying that you dont get answers...be patient!:)i wish you all the best
