who among you have joined a reality show?

I've only talked to one person whose done a reality show and that was "True Life" on MTV and the episode was "back to civilian life" not sure hot it affected them though or what lessons they were thought but i do have a friend whose made it to round 2 of "Making the Band" and hopefully he makes it all the way so i can ask what its like.
