Can you remember the very first candy bar you ever had???

I can...it was a Hershey's bar. I was about 6 years old...
I remember the day we (us girls) got to go to the store and pick them out. We NEVER got treats or sweets...so it was very exciting. My one sister picked M&M's and my other sister picked a 3 Musketeers.
I even remember the 2nd candy bar I ever had, it was a Whatumacallit (sp.) Those are very very tasty!! Oh, my uncle used to bring us Chuckles everytime he would come visit..those are a jelly candy, and they are very good too. I love candy!!!

I wish that I could remember! The sad thing is, the only candy experiences that are really stuck in my mind now are the bad ones, lol! Like when I choked on a lollypop sort of candy on a car trip one time when it got lodged in my throat, and when a friend and I bought some candy from a salvage shop down the street (where we were always buying stuff, and it was usually fine) and opened up the bar only to find that it had all kinds of bugs crawling around in it! Eww! *laugh* I do remember that my favorite candy bar has long been Snickers, though. Not sure why. I just love it, but I can't really have anything like that now because I have a problem with sugar. Oh welL! ^_^

EWWWW A bag of bugs? They charged you for that? lol. just kiddin'. That would turn me off of candy for a while, lol. I love snickers too! They are very tasty. I'm trying to stay away from candy right now, I've put on about 15 lbs just since summer ended, :-0 lol....

I probably should be able to remember my first candy bar, as I was born just after the end of the war and food was rationed. I do however, remember my mum taking me into the bakery with her, when she was buying her bread with the ration book, and she would always make sure that she had enough left to buy me a cream bun. I still love cream buns to-day.

Oh man that was a long time ago, i believe it was a Twix bar, i cant be 100% sure though

The first candy bar I ever had was a hershey's chocolate bar. When I was old enough to pick out my own I liked charleston chews because they were sooo big...lol I also used to like bonomo turkish taffy. I still love candy too. I just bought a bag of valentine hersey kisses...hehhe

i enjoyed your discussion the first candy i had in my life was wilbur buds well now they call them hershey's kisses you are younger then me and i glad we both like candy thanks for sharing your family god bless you and may he answer all your prayers nice to have met you.
