It's good luck to find a four-leaf clover. Clover protects people and animals from the spell of magicians and the wiles of fairies, and brings good luck to those who keep it in the house. This is what my grandfather used to tell us when we were kids. :)

I am not a superstious person. But my husband is. He will not drive down the road if he sees a black cat cross the street. He will go out of his way completly not to drive past that point.

my grandmother believes in superstitions. some she used to tell us were if a bird hits your window someone is going to die, and if you rock an empty rocking chair I think it is supposed to bring bad luck.

Lots of people won't have green in the house as it is said to be unlucky but I remember reading it's something to do with the Orange marchers in Scotland and Ireland. My mum would never have a green car and when my boyfriend had one it was nothing but trouble. I wouldn't have another.

Apparently nobody I know believes in them! So I dug some up myself, here's a tasty one: " People in the Middle Ages would scrape the lichen off a crucifix and eat it to stop them having nightmares." Mmn!

My friend used to hold her breath and raise her feet off the car floor when passing a graveyard.

hmmm... Well I watch for signs in nature, Finding feathers and coins are gifts to me from the spirits, There are no coincidences, People at first may blow off my entire belief systems Heinzism, as some silly Tradition... But I know that is only a superstition, as its sacred to me. :) - DNatureofDTrain
