crime on the internet

I've been doing some thinking lately about crime on the internet. I haven't been able to draw a conclusion, but I wonder if virus threats or phish and other crooks are evenly a threat to me on the internet. And of course to my business. It seemed like during the month of October all of the large online businesses had come up with plans to defeat the crooks and get them off of their sites. Then the topic began to fade a little. Does anyone know of any statistics which would show which one is the bigger of the problems? Do any of you have an opinion on this topic? If you do know of any break-down I would like to read it if possible. I think this topic is equally important to all of us. Do you? How many of you don't even think about viral threats or the crooks surrounding the Net?

Phishers and viral threats are very real, and you should be cautious. I don't see phishers as being too much of a problem for bigger companies, I would say phishers are the most comment threat, viruses/adware/spyware being number 2. You are always at risk for viruses and other junk mostly from what you download.
