why do people call themselves 'friends' when they enjoy hurting and lying?

i just found out that my friend, whom i have practically shared my whole identity with, is lying to me big time. what's more, she's still denying everything when it's totally obvious that there isn't any truth in what she's saying. now she's making herself look like she was the one who's fooled. she's asking for forgiveness, but how the hell can i be her friend again when she's bit even admitting her mistakes.

She doesnt deserve your friendship, I had a similiar experience with a friend that really hurt me, made fun of me, talked bad about me to others, then wanted to deny it! I will never trust her and let her into my life again!
Your better off without that fake friend, she doesnt deserve you!
