A pâté (also spelled paté) is a spreadable paste, usually made from meat (although vegetarian variants exist), and often served with toast as a starter. It is a French word which designates a mixture of minced meat (often from the less desirable parts) and fat. It is generally made from a finely ground or chunky mixture of meats such as liver, and often additional fat, vegetables, herbs, spices, wine and other ingredients. i love it!

I love it too! But the good paté,is not from the less desirable parts and fat. There are evgetarian paté mushroom. But I made paté alredy form yeast, and egg-plant too. Both were very delicious.
