What is the differance between mobile and cell phone......

I think cell phone or cell is the short form of cellular network. The phones work on the cellular network. Mobile because you can carry it with you.I think that is right.

well in general theres not much of a difference but technically a mobile phone is the one that is mobile, means that can be carried with you, a cell phone is specially the one which carries its own battery with itself....hopefully that is the corect answer

thank u for responding..but it not the correct answer......actuall cell is a antenna from that we r getting signals..but mobile is our mobile unit..

both are same. i feel a the term 'cellphone' or 'cell' is used as a common term nowadays whereas the term 'mobile phone' was used some years back when the unit was just introduced. it was like showing off a premium gadget when we said 'mobile phone' but now u can use any term but u can hear most of us say 'cell' rather then 'mobile phone'. but yes some even say 'mobile'

There is really nothings deferent between them if you are in US you will call it Cell Phone , if you are in Europe you will call it Mobile And that's really simple hops that's helped you :D
