Are you getting addicted to my Lot?

Some will be afraid of answering the question because myLot encourages us to say how happy we are with them. What do we owe them? Just for a few cents we cannot say something thatis influencing us? Isn't this supposed to be just for fun? Although I am not a top user, I already put myLot as my homepage. The first thing I do in the computer is to answer a post. I was curious, has myLot been taking away time from you? This is really addicting, I came here at first for the money to be honest, but since it is justa small pay, I'm using it automatically for fun. However, I feel that I'm taking away time that my family deserves, my kids and husband, and the attention that they need. I don't think that I will spend as much time as I used to spend during my first week. And also, for those of you who will be afraid to say that you are here for the money,did you know that when you notice your balance is not as much as you expected (according to your balance patterns) is because we are not producing sales to them? How many of you have bought something from the ads that you see here? I do not want to offend anyone, but I think that this is addicting, ndit is not worth to be addicted to. I will reduce my time here. Sorry, but I have to be honest.

I have to balance my time, but I do not feel like my earnings are suffering. It is addictive. I went through that phase, and am mellowing out, using it less, but I still do find it very entertaining. I have a lot of evenings home alone due to differing shifts than hubby. I do not feel like this steals any more time than watching TV would for me. I am just tempted to miss sleep to stay up and post.

I couldn't agree with you more; and not solely in regards to mylot, either. Heck, I started a myspace profile two weeks ago, then this, and then there's ebay selling and buying, oh and bills to pay, and a mom to write...
It has gotten so bad that my wife and I had a huge fight about it the other night. All of a sudden I'm feeling like I really do have a problem. Scary! I try to tell my wife that this is different, that it is inspirational and that my writings can make positive impacts upon other people. That didn't float for a minute. Bare bones, yes, all computer use creates addiction. And just what is all this computer use doing to my eyes, to my posture, to my wrists? What effects will this have on me when I'm 60? I never used the computer like I do now - maybe because I've had internet at home for the first time in my life.
But the fact is, now I wait until the child is in bed and then I can post away. But it still doesn't change the draw...like some beckoning voice...check your posts! It's bad and getting worse, but I sure am having fun and realistically that's all that matters as long as you can pull yourself away at crucial times.

I chose your answer as the best one because it is the closest to the reality thatsome in myLot are living today. Not everyone, just some. I had to control myself using mylot, andguess what? Today I got paid almost the same thing as yesterday and I took it really easy. Thanks myLot for not taking out this discussion and letting me express myself and others with honesty.

when i first started out i was addicted to mylot but now i am hardley on here it takes to much time to make payout so i stayed away for awhile

Yes I'am for I think my day is not complete if I dont post here in Mylot. I always want to be here everyday. I think everybody also feels the same. We are all hook now here in Mylot.

yes because everytime i get on i get really into it. but i do get off when i need to and i don't let it take time from my family because i limit my time and when its time to get off i make myself get off

yes i think i am getting addicted to mylot too, after my work i do my household chores as fast as i can so i can set down to my computer and do mylot gathering, honestly its fun and will have some bucks to expect in the future when you reach the payouts.

Yes it can be addictive. I only come on when no one is home, awake or in need of me. The last part is when my girls are playing with their friends. I refuse to allow the internet to consume my life, even if Mylot was paying a dollar a post. Family is more important.

I already got addicted to this site.I heard long time back when we didn't had computer at home that we can earn money on Internet & from the time we got computer at home I was looking for such site.Mylot is the only site i found after searching a lot.

Well I have come to mylot for money purposes, as there many sites and message forums I am part of yet do not get paid for my input! And I always have a lot to say! So if I can do that on such a site AND get paid for it why not? If I can do it for free it doesn't really intervene with too much of my time to do the same on here! But I have to agree it can become a little addicting! Because I will check mylot everyday to see if my earnings are increasing and what new topics are out. I find it really exciting and always laugh to my housemate that "Oh I made 5 cents yesterday!" She just laughs at me! It has added to my time which I spend on the net so is not necessarily a good thing, as I do not get much uni work done as a result! But it's interesting to read such a varied group of peoples various thoughts and views, and am quite glad I joined this site! I will try and control my amount of time spent on here though!

I like to know that i have an account on the net that i can increase at anytime i want. I always have alot to say but in this world where everyone is so preoccupied with everyday work and so on its hard to say all the things on your mind but here at mylot noone is too busy to reply or to comment on what you have to say. That makes me come here very regularly i guess i am a bit addicted.

I have just found my Lot I think its great. I like the fact that you can speak freely about things you may not mention to people you see every day. Its always nice to know that there are people out there that understand ,with endless opinions seeing so much food for thought .Having so many choices as to what you learn and take away from here its not just about money but knowing your not alone means is sometimes a big comfort.
So I would have to say yes to the addicted part.With helping ,sharing and caring not to mention getting typing speeds back up .It is all very appealing.

Oh, yes I am so addicted to mylot. Every time I get online and after checking email I automatically come here and just read and really have a laugh sometimes. But I do like to help people in every way I can, so I do answer a lot of questions. I mean if I really know the answer and can give the person some support, I'll do that. It's nice to be able to help people. That is one of the reasons we're on this earth is to help each other, not hate each other.

Never have i been glued to any forum but MyLot is the first forum that kept me infront of my monitor..
