Can Dhoni be consderd as beeter than Gilcrist?

dhoni is a good player and has saved the team some times.But dhoni has shown his miracle only in Indian pitches.So before making a comparison with Gilcrist, dhoni has to show his miracles in foreign pitches and prove himself.Only after performing well in other countries, we can think of comparing Gilcrist and Dhoni.

It isnt wise to compare dhoni with gilchrist..Gilchrist is an aggressive player, but dhoni is just a hitter...moreover he plays only in sub continents where there is not much bounce...And he has response well behind the wickets..when he peforms well against all countries in other countries he can be compared with gilchrist...

ya..dhoni s good striker of the ball.he too told tat Gichrist s his godfather...he's trying to play like him..

seeing his present performance he might better ghilchrist but yes he needs to perform against all countries and in all countries just performing in India will not make him number one

i think u have gone mad.. how on earth can one compare gilchrist and dhoni.. gilchrist is a class in all departments and dhoni is basically in the team only for his aggressive batting and not for keeping..u hav to note it...i would prefer karthik to dhoni as a keeper... plz dont ever compare dhoni and karthik

Let Dhoni play good cricket atleast for another couple of years before making any comparison with Gilchrist, and, so far as keeping is concerned i think, Gilchrist is miles ahead of Dhoni. Dhoni is basically a batsman who can keep, but Gilchrist is a wicketkeeper and a tremendous batsman.

till this time i dnt think so. gilchrist has played so gem of an inns to save the australian tema and also remeber he plays really well in the longer vesiron of the game too and that is not the same ase with dhoni. and offlate he has not scored alot ofruns and abt gili, he generally scored very frequenlt and when he does he actually kills the bowlers. and he has soem arrogence in himsel which is very nice to watch. according to me he is better than dhoni till nw.

no i do not think dhoni is better than gilcrist he should be consistence both in his batting and as well as behind the stumps and he should be able to perform not only on the indian pitches but also on all pitches around the world this takes time
