Riddle Time

Here is a driving test riddle for ya. If no one has gotten it by tomorrow I will post the answer.
You are driving in a car at a constant speed.
On your left side there is a drop-off (The ground is 18-20 inches from the level you are traveling on).
On your right side is a fire engine traveling the same speed as you.
In front of you is a galloping horse which is the same size as your car so you can not overtake it.
Behind you is another galloping horse.
Both horses are also traveling at the same speed as you.
Taking all above stated facts into consideration what must you do to safely get out of this dangerous situation?

sounds like your travelling on a caraousel, in which case you would have to wait for the ride to stop
