Who Audits Sites Like iwon.com to make sure...

that they are really giving out all that prize money to real people like they say they are. I have visited them daily for about 3 years now and really would hate to think I may have been wasting my time.

From the looking into this I have done, in the USA it is the Federal Trade Commission who makes sure these companies are honest and straight forward with folks. iwon.com is part of Ask.com which it seems is based in California near as I can tell. The FTC should be keeping these companies honest if they have enough manpower to do it. I worry about the same things as I enter Publishers Clearing House stuff a lot and hope someone is making sure they are honest in picking winners.

Actually, Iwon does pay out winnings, but they also add a tracking cookie to your computer, which sends them your browsing history. That's how some of your spam gets to you, by those 3rd party vendors you agree to receive offers from. Spywareblaster and spybot search and destroy recommend not visiting Iwon.com if you don't want spyware on your computer
