Help in t shirt

Hi, I bought this tee from this website about half a year ago.
Now the black prints on the shirt has "faded". As in, there are red like stuff on top.
I'm not sure if this happens only to red, but I would like to know how people normal counter this.
It makes my tee look v old.
Ps: I wash with cold water with washin machine. but i mix it with other colored clothing as well. (not sure if this affects it)

You should wash t-shirts that have decals on them inside out. That way the decal doesn't rub against anything. A solution is to get fabric paint and paint over the lettering.
