power cord/foot pedal

I need instructions how to rewire the foot pedal/power cord to my 206K singer sewing machine. I went to replace a worn cord and now I can't remember how it the wires went back in the plug that goes to the three prong part on the sewing machine. I forgot to make a digram of them . can any one help me out. desperate for help on this one. I need my machine so I can get my sewing done.
