All of us have gone to the stage where our mom and dad gets in the way. Are you the "Yes Mom, Yes Dad" type? or are you the "Mom, Dad, I know what I'm doing". Which one are you? Most specifically when it comes to your love life, studies, career, and playing time/hobbies. As for me, I'm more on "Yes Mom, Yes Dad" type when it comes to my studies and career. It dont bother me since their likes are also my likes. But when it comes to my love life and my playing time/hobbies, I'm the "Mom, Dad, I know what I'm doing" type. When it comes to those two, I usually insist what I want even if sometimes it leads to arguement. Lucky me coz in the end they usually agree with me. How about you?

most of the time, i am just like you, the yes mom, yes dad kind of children to them. but i see to it that i don't just say yes to make them happy and not make myself feel free about the decision i made. it's a two way thing. i agree to what my parents wants if i also wanna do it. if not, my parents respect my decision in return. i am a sweet child, too. even at the age of 28, i still tell them the words i love you everyday even when there are people around. i still kiss them and hug them. and when we go to malls, i still hold their hands and make them feel comfortable.

Cool, thats really nice. We are in the same boat. My attitude is also like that. It's good knowing that I share the same attitude with some individual which I rarely know.

hi,In young age every body feels that they are doing correct in love and other hobbies.Any patents in the world desire their children's damage?..still youngsters don't give importance in these two issues and get failed in majority of cases.Even parents also did like this in their young age.Luckily you may taking good decisions, but what about the teenagers who spoiling their lives in the name of love and parties...So you are lucky enough, all the best and have a nice day.

Well yes you have a point. I think it depends on how parents mould you to become a responsible individual.
