People that steal from charities

Should people who steal money from any charity be given harsh punishment and if yes what should the punishment be?

well i agree with you but i think that some charities head officer take the charity money for their own use and we don't punish them and so i think that punishing people who take a little amount from the charity is not my choice but we must punish the cheaters who are on charge of the charity.
