I want to purchase a tape that I can follow along and do yoga with. Any suggestions?

The only yoga instructional DVD I have been able to get into is Shiva Rea's Yoga Trance Dance. It is so much fun. You can also plan your practice with a matrix screen where you pick and choose from different skill levels what exercises you do. The DVD also includes this super cool demonstration on agni fire meditation, with three people practicing. It's fun to watch, but I'm not sure I'd want to actually try it.

Strangely enough I REALLY like the MTV yoga DVD's but they are more intermediate Advanced Yoga technique. The Sarah Ivanhoe videos are pretty good as well. You may want to check out http://www.collagevideo.com it's a GREAT website to preview workout videos before you buy them

For Starters I suggest Yoga with Lilias. She used to have a TV program maybe she still does. Hers was very good to beginners I used to do it all the time, and felt wonderful, and became both stronger, and leaner.... - DNatureofDTrain

I have the DVD of Geri Halliwell's second attempt at a yoga video. It's called "Geri Body Yoga" and I find it very good. The Yoga expert is called katie Appleton and she is quite famous and well recognised in the field of Yoga.
